As the international travel space reopens, it's important to remember that each local jurisdiction will implement its own safe-travel solution.
Traveling with an eSim is essential, whether on business or for pleasure. Because each country has its own set of vaccination requirements, sign-in procedures, and safety protocols, being contactless and connected to a wireless network is not only a plus, but something you should take advantage of to the fullest.
What is an eSIM, you might wonder?
An "embedded" SIM card is known as an "eSIM." A SIM card soldered directly into your phone is known as an eSIM. (Think of a fully digital SIM card.)You can download different plans directly from the Airhub app rather than having to swap a chip to access data plans. This eliminates the need to look for SIM card vendors while travelling, manage a physical SIM card or multiple cards, or dispose of unnecessary plastic from used cards. What it means to travel contactless

This may sound restrictive under normal circumstances, but there is a benefit. Using your phone's technology should never be a hindrance on your trip; rather, it should be viewed as a tool for connecting to the rest of the world!
Here are a few contactless travel tips you can use with an eSIM capable device:
· Use Google or Apple pay by tapping your phone at a point of sale
· Manage your network and switch between a different digital line
· Use your eSim device to tether data to another screen or device.
· Use the internet anywhere your services provider has network coverage
· Store, transfer and update important health and business documentation across multiple devices
· Order food, groceries, and taxi services through your mobile device
· Scan QR-codes instead of interacting with a physical menu
· Reload cellular data with the Airhub app, instead of finding a vendor.
Keep these reminders in mind because having a plan in place to store your important documents could save you a lot of time at customs.
You can always check if your eSIM line is active, when you need to top up, and which plans you have access to in the Airhub app. Keep in mind that if you travel on a data plan with a physical SIM, you risk incurring high roaming charges as a consumer. When your device connects to networks that aren't part of your carrier's plan, you'll be charged for roaming. If you use only your primary local SIM card to connect to networks outside of your range, you will be charged a daily premium for using that new network.

Lastly, make sure you are informed about the regulations of the country you're traveling to. You may need to perform a COVID test upon arrival, prior to departure, or fulfill other requirements before completing your travel.
